ABSOLUTELY NOT. And we will say it louder for the people in the back. We do not under any circumstances use or support the use of AI or Large Language Modules (LLM) in any of our editorial or writing work. We also do not accept content from clients that incorporates the use of AI or LLM.
This is stated in our Letter of Agreement, as well as our Terms & Conditions and must be reviewed/signed before any work begins. If SCES discovers that this agreement is broken due to discovery of prior use of AI/LLM, services will be terminated immediately and payment will be required within 3 business days for any work completed up to that point.

We do not currently offer any publication or agency services (nor related advice/consultation) at this time. If you have questions regarding the publication process or next steps for your manuscript post-editing, we recommend doing some research online or contacting an agent or publishing team for more information. If appropriate, we are happy to connect you within our network of contacts.
Having access to Microsoft Word (and the Track Changes and Comment functionality within the application) is preferred. SCES is happy to provide an overview of said functions once we begin project work if you are not already familiar. Access to e-mail, phone, and Zoom or Teams applications is required for ongoing communication and collaboration.
Additionally, the ability to pay invoices via PayPal (preferred)/Zelle/Venmo is essential as we do not accept checks or other forms of payment at this time.
